Fourteen couples arrived at Malaga Airport on a Friday morning, with driving licences in hand, but with no idea of what was ahead! WOW! was the collective exclamation as they set eyes on 14 red and white Citroen 2cv’s lined up in the sun with overalls and helmets ready to wear! Every car had the names of the couple on them and the decals added up to their combined ages! Suitcases in the boot, overalls donned, a 15 minute briefing and they were off on a 4 day extravaganza in southern Spain.

Jeremy decreed that the girls should drive on the first day leaving the navigation to the boys! – Not bad boys! Only half the field made it to the first coffee stop ahead of us 2 hours later (and we were last in the field as support) but by lunch time they had cracked it, and hilarious tales were exchanged on the morning adventures!
That night at Parador de Ronda, decked out in colourful 60’s fancy dress, the guests were treated to a wonderful display of flamenco dancing and a matador in full ceremonial outfit. A truly dazzling sight!
After a photocall at the bullring in the morning, we headed for a beautiful shooting lodge in the hills, stopping for lunch at a typically Spanish restaurant serving plates of calamari and prawns. We spent two nights at the shooting lodge, with the guests spending the third day at an organised shoot which was followed by a wonderful dinner that night.
Our final day took us through more of the beautiful Spanish hills with a stop for an outdoor lunch before returning to Malaga airport where the guests leapt out of their 2cv’s and headed for check-in. The team then relayed the cars back to their garage for a clean up and a decal change over, ready for the next guests!
