Jo’s 50th

A four-day extravaganza with Jo leading the way in Doris along a super route to lunch at the Bombay Sapphire Gin Distillery near Winchester and then on to the Balmer Lawn in Brockenhurst in the New Forest.  0830 the next morning found the group of 30 in four teams and completing in a reverse steer competition before heading off on a treasure hunt through the New Forest with instructions to be at the Lymington ferry for 1230.

We all hopped on the ferry to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight (without cars!) and headed to Salty’s for a delicious seafood lunch before returning to the mainland and the Balmer Lawn for a film of the morning activities followed by a big Birthday knees up for Jo and a

The adventure continued west on the small roads of Hampshire, via a private lodge in the hills for a welcome picnic lunch, before lodging at the King’s Head in Wimbourne, East Dorset.  On the last day we headed for home.
